Forty years of experience: among the various anniversaries celebrated at ISE 2023, that of Euromet cannot fail to strike. Present in more than sixty countries around the world, the historic Marche-based company now boasts an international reputation in the field of AV media, enjoying partnerships with major multinationals in the sector. Time to take stock, then, but also to renew some of the company’s historical products: MS Director Mario Romagnoli, whom we at Connessioni interviewed, does not hide his excitement, presenting us with the main new products in the catalog.
First and foremost, the Arakno projector mount, which returns in its Anniversary version, is slightly more compact than its predecessor and able to regain at least 2-3 cm in thickness without losing anything in terms of strength or precision (an important aspect, for example, when it comes to installing projectors close to the ceiling or on a truss). The product is now also available in an unprecedented and eye-catching full black version.
The second novelty concerns the motorized PLATEA, a revival of what is perhaps Euromet’s most iconic monitor cart, and one that almost twelve years ago established itself as one of the first ever with an integrated rack, particularly performing in videoconferencing. Platea is back with a new design and, above all, to adapt to market needs, with a motorized double-column structure connected to the internal rack, which can be reused for various installations.
Another product presented by the company is the new MATRIX, an innovative rigging&stacking frame developed mainly following the new line of Epson PU1XXX &PU2XXX projectors, which compared to the past represents almost a revolution. As Romagnoli explains, “the cage becomes a sort of ‘dress’ for the projector, protecting it and at the same time allowing it to be handled and above all installed perfectly.” The installations that the new Matrix allows are simple (all hydrofoils can be integrated with the cage itself), fast, stable, and above all modular according to the most varied needs (floor projections, portraits, landscapes).
Great attention, as usual, is paid to certifications. Research centers, in-house studies, collaborations with external engineers, and sometimes extreme testing: all contribute to improving the quality and reliability of Euromet products. Even more so, however, Romagnoli emphasizes the fact that the production and development of these products take place within the same plant: “it’s kind of the cornerstone of our success: by producing everything in-house, we manage to be extremely fast in perceiving the need, and in the same to design, prototype, package and launch our solutions with continuous feedback at each of these stages.” He concludes, “We are extremely focused and specialized on our business, and we are happy to produce only mounts, so that we are always detail-oriented and neutral with all our partners. With this philosophy by the will of the three founding partners, the company itself was born 40years ago and the president Franco Stacchiotti has always kept it that way over time. We believe it has been the element that allowed us to arrive at the present day in excellent health.” A brand that is a guarantee, in short, where solid roots in the past are a starting point for a thriving future of openness to innovations.
