Created and distributed by Frenexport, Helvia has launched a new, practical 4×4 audio matrix also available in a passive version designed for small and medium installations
Those who frequently deal with small and medium-sized installations have specific needs for simplicity and compactness to meet, which Helvia has launched a new integrated solution: HMX-44A is a matrix with a four-input and four-output mixer, which integrates a multimedia player and four independent 60W amplifiers. All inputs are independently assignable to the four zones they are capable of covering, and each zone features output level control.
The mixer section includes three XLR inputs with 48V Phantom, two of which are Mic/Line and one Mic, and a front stereo mini-jack Line input combined with the multimedia player with DAB+, FM, USB, BT. Each input offers independent level adjustment, and the Mic/Line and Mic inputs also feature treble and bass tone adjustment.
The 60W Class-D amplifiers integrate digital processing with limiter, overheating protection, fan control, DC-offset and current to guarantee operation at any audio level both at 100V and 4 Ohm in complete safety .
A passive version of the product is also available, without amplifiers, to be combined with external power amplifiers in case of large installations, for greater flexibility of use in the event that (and it happens with a certain frequency) the size of an installation grows during construction.
With its small dimensions (it only takes up one rack unit), Helvia HMX-44A is therefore a product that combines compactness and efficiency: if it were a footballer, it would be one of those midfield who never miss a support and defend the ball! Useful in many installations, its strong points are the simplicity of use and the completeness of the functions, which meet all the most frequent needs of designers, installers and users.
