At ISE 2024 the company presented the entire range of visualization solutions for the most disparate applications, showing great growth in terms of product lines and application areas
Marco Santucci, Product Manager T&D of Hikvision, with whom we were able to speak in Barcelona on the occasion of the last edition of ISE, which has just ended, framed Hikvision’s participation in the event in this way: “In the previous edition, our presence was certainly smaller, in terms of stands and proposed solutions. This year we presented our entire commercial display lineup: LED walls, digital signage, video walls and interactive monitors, gathering the results of the excellent foundations laid during the last year.”
C – What is your main strength?
MS – I would say the completeness of our range. Previously we established ourselves above all in the indoor world, this year we are also in the outdoor and rental sectors. We were niche, now we have a very wide range, for all applications.
C – What do you place particular emphasis on in this edition of ISE?
MS – First of all, I would say about the new CGFs with pixel pitches from 1.5 to 3.9, available in the particular size 250x750mm and 250x1000mm. And then we gave a lot of space to the Digital Signage part, even with already known models, which have a different market from that of LEDs, with sizes of 86”, 75” and 65”. Always with regard to the indoor world, the core business at the moment for LED walls, we present new slim cabinets that are easier to install, and we have also recently introduced the new LED wall model for stadiums, a solution with pixel pitches from 6 to 10, and up to 10.000 nits of brightness.
C – Do you also have flexible products in your catalogue?
MS – Not at the moment, but we still have LED wall models that can be curved by 10-15 degrees, to create ad hoc, slightly curved structures. We are also having good success with the Poster models, they are functional and adapt to different contexts, allowing the creation of advertising content remotely. Up to ten can be connected at once, to create entire video walls, or the single poster can be used on a bracket with casters for easy movement.
C – And what can you tell us about your commitment to the Educational world?
MS – For us it is a very important sector. We presented a new interactive whiteboard with Android 13 which includes the introduction of auto-tracking and speaker-tracking on models with integrated webcam as technical innovations. In general, in the Edu world we are very present with blackboards and video walls, especially for auditoriums and large classrooms, which require video wall solutions up to 3×3.
C – Any other interesting previews?
MS – The latest innovations are the new Transparent LED, a consumer and retail product, used above all for shop windows, and the rental model, which opens up to the events and fairs market. It will be our main product at the next MIR.
