CRD50, the OPS module by Philips Professional Display Solutions that improves the performance and versatility of digital signage solutions.
Add the power of Android and CMND to a network of Philips displays with a module that can be incorporated directly into the OPS slots of each display. A simple and straightforward solution that enables the outstanding performance and flexibility of the Android SoC, plus all the features of the CMND control platform, on the entire Philips Professional Display Solutions signage range.
Displays will be ready for anything
Thanks to the OPS slot, no extra connections are necessary, while the integrated media player allows for quick programming of content, and the HTML5 browser – also integrated – allows online content to be used and controlled.
One module, thousands of possibilities
The plug&play Android SoC is optimised for maximum usability of native apps and custom web apps. It is fast, versatile and secure, and therefore suitable for and compatible with any market sector and application.
The integrated scheduler of the SoC Android facilitates the launch of apps and content according to predetermined dates and times, but content can also be played from USB, internal memory or from a local network.
Seamless system management
The Android SoC of the CRD50 module functions perfectly with CMND, Philips’ “end-to-end” platform for complete management and control of a display network. CMND & Create allows the creation, development and launch of content; CMND & Control allows the configuration, update and maintenance of displays and networks; CMND & Deploy allows the installation, activation and distribution of automatic applications and screenshots, from remote and/or offsite positions.
“For all our panels that do not have on-board control and play out devices – adds Daniele Tomè, Technical Sales Manager for Italy of Philips Professional Display Solutions – the CRD50 module represents an excellent solution, capable of providing Android 7.1.2 in a stable, stand-alone version; also, as it is integrated into OPS, the module takes power and control directly from the panel, and requires no additional space or connections.
