Philips Professional Display Solutions presents the advanced T-Line series touch screens.
Three new models dedicated to specific vertical markets – corporate, public venues, education – with an added option to integrate Media Player and GlobalSIM by Telenor Connexion.
The 10″ display is the first of the new Philips Professional Display Solutions touch range; a model that features an HD panel with five touch points, 8 GB of storage and a faster processor (8 cores, compared with the 2 cores of the previous version) that allows it to take full advantage of all the features of Android 7.
The 24″ and 86″ all-in-one solutions
The second new addition is the exclusive 24″ model – launched at ISE 2019 – which not only has the same sleek, compact and slim design as the 10″ display, but also boasts an even faster processor and 16 GB of internal memory to ensure instant content playback. It is a true all-in-one solution with a plug&play, ten-point multi-touch panel, SoC Android to support native apps and web apps, and built-in camera, microphone and speaker. This display can be powered via PoE+ technology through a single Ethernet cable, configured in portrait mode, landscape mode or tabletop mode and accessed remotely via the TeamViewer Host App. In addition, the screen designed for recessed installation, the easily-cleaned narrow bezel and 24/7 operation make the 24″ T-Line model the ideal monitor for digital kiosks and information points in public spaces.
The flagship of the T-Line series is the 86″ display that replaces the previous 84″ version. This model features an IPS 4K UHD panel with improved anti-reflective performance, twenty IR touch points for multi-user applications and an ultra-thin bezel. It has a more precise and flat panel that offers a lower optical parallax to optimize wide-angle visibility and greater responsiveness thanks to a superior connection between the LCD touch panel and the internal control components. Other features include the QuadViewer function, which allows four different signal sources to be displayed on a single screen, the FailOver function, which ensures that video content is always present, and an OPS slot, which permits the immediate integration of an optional SoC Android solution.
Compatibility with CMND
The new T-Line series models are compatible with CMND – the unique platform from Philips Professional Display Solutions for the creation and remote management of content and displays – and also provide full exploitation of Telenor Connexion cellular connectivity solutions by integrating GlobalSIM directly with the Media Player. An optional configuration offers the possibility to connect the displays to broadband networks to avoid using the customer’s network, minimize on-site installation time and simplify diagnostic services.
