Different products for a single purpose: effectively and attractively design a particular environment such as the press room
The press room is not a normal environment, it must have its own characteristics and above all it must capture the attention. There is a big difference between a press room consisting of a simple classroom with a table and chairs and a press room technically equipped with a spectacular videowall easily controllable by the lecturer. The video supports the content of the conference, and strengthens it.
ATEN proposes a range of products that, amongst their applications, also have to “dress” a press room. Let’s first talk about the VM3200, a modular video matrix switch, which support connectivity between multiple sources and screens, allowing you to distribute live video, presentations, live streams to any screen and offer seamless switching, scaling, scheduling, and videowall functionalities.
With extenders (VE801 and VE901), journalists at the back can have full visibility, duplicating video signals on the screens across the room. To further enhance the visibility, the HDBaseT VE805R receivers, with built-in scaler and seamless switching, create a videowall behind the presenter.
In short, we would have a professional audiovisual infrastructure, already widely tested and used in the press rooms, controlled by the moderator with a product such as VK2100, a standard Ethernet-based hardware control system that connects all hardware devices in a room or in a large building, also offering centralized direct control via a mobile device (computer or tablet). Finally, audio, lighting, projectors and curtains can also be controlled via the same system. The press room is ready to welcome the audience!
