Panasonic launches not one, but even two new ranges of interactive displays designed for public digital signage, featuring ShadowSense Multi-Touch technology
The AF1 and LF80 displays evolve: here are the new versions available in 42”, 49” and 55” formats, with ShadowSense technology, which uses a series of hidden sensors in the display frame to accurately detect objects entering, stationary or exit the field the sensor field. This means that new touchscreens have a faster response to inputs.
The AF1-SST models represent the top of Panasonic’s digital signage display range and offer very fun features such as OpenPort PLATFORM, based on Android, as well as internal storage and processing capabilities that make it superfluous an external laptop. Thanks to access to the many applications available on Google Play Store, new displays allow users to independently run digital signage applications.
The LF80-SST range integrates DIGITAL LINK technology, which supports the transmission of control, video and audiosignals up to 150 meters via a single LAN cable. Thanks to various management options available, such as USB cloning, these screens are a digital signage solution designed to involve users – visitors, customers, and collaborators – in an innovative and more dynamic way.
Florence Antony, Panasonic’s Product Marketing Manager, comments: “The screens are designed for 24/7 continuous operation and ensure trouble-free operation. The brightness of 700 cd/m² and the wide angle of the IPS panel ensure the LF80-SST for maximum readability even in intensely lit environments.”
