On the occasion of the last ICT Solution Day organized by Allnet Italia we had the opportunity to exchange a few words with Ilaria Orlando, Enterprise Marketing Manager of Jabra
The Danish brand Jabra has gained fame above all as a manufacturer of audio equipment, in particular headphones and speakerphones, mainly for the corporate world. “In recent years however” – Ilaria Orlando told us – “we have followed the trend of videoconferencing, which has experienced a great increase due to the pandemic. This is why we decided to acquire a company specializing in video products, a side on which we were objectively a little exposed, and we launched our PanaCast series, which consists of three products all dedicated to videoconferencing, also and above all in a hybrid key. ”
The key feature of the Jabra PanaCast 50 is the 180° field of view, which allows you to frame even those positioned on the sides of the meeting room.
“With this characteristic” – explains Ilaria Orlando – “PanaCast was an ideal product in the most intense periods of the pandemic, because thanks to its wide field of view it allowed social distancing even in indoor spaces, without excluding anyone from the meeting.”
In short, PanaCast 50 is a video bar that allows all participants, both in the room and remotely, to be involved in the meeting, just as if they were sitting next to each other. The system combines the professional audio for which the Jabra brand is known and the ultra-wide field of view with an advanced Android processor, able to offer a smooth and effective collaboration experience, without the need for a computer.
“Now we are evolving in this direction” concludes Ilaria Orlando. “We will be launching a new version of our bar at the end of summer, which will increase its functionality and compatibility with systems from other brands.”
