Thursday, June 27 in Milan, at Aten’ s Italian Demo & Training Center, integrated AV solutions for meeting rooms and workplaces will meet HRT‘s Huddle Hub system.
Today’s cutting-edge technologies for collaborative spaces require new skills from Italian system integrators. This is precisely why Aten has made its Demo & Training Center available to HRT for a course dedicated to the Huddle Hub wireless collaboration system, to be held in Milan on June 27th to train operators in the professional AV sector. It is an excellent opportunity to delve into the integration between HRT products and Aten solutions in various installations, from simple to the most complex, typical of meeting rooms and other collaborative spaces.
What does Huddle Hub 3.0 mean?
This refresher course on the innovations presented by HRT at Infocomm 2019 will focus in particular on the 3.0 release of Huddle Hub – clientless mode with the new web app, personal room, the new administrator console and compatibility list – as well as on the new products Huddle Hub One SRE (Single Room Edition) and Huddle Hub Enterprise and, finally, on the HRT Partner Program.
The Aten experts, headed by the “host” Luca Enea-Spilimbergo, sales manager for Italy, will combine the Huddle Hub universe with Aten solutions for conference rooms, meeting rooms and huddle rooms. Let’s examine the main features.
Meetings and collaboration for every need.
Starting with small meeting rooms and limited spaces, based on the familiar concept of BYOD (Bring Your Own Device): Aten’s wireless extenders allow users to easily connect their laptops and display their ideas on a larger screen. In addition, the latest 4K video switch models provide presentations with an added touch of color and clarity.

Larger meeting rooms have more desktop PCs, though participants still want to display their own content. With a presentation switch, it is possible to connect everything to a single device and send the signal to multiple monitors. What happens when remote participants are brought in? No problem: the streaming function allows presentations to be shared anywhere, anytime.
Finally, conference rooms and auditoriums have more advanced video distribution needs. This is where Aten modular matrixes come in, with up to 32 input and output ports that can connect multiple devices regardless of the interface. Moreover, HDBaseT technology allows system integrators to extend the signal up to 100 meters in 4K. A hardware controller with a user interface can facilitate operation and have a presentation ready in seconds (video signals, microphones, lights, air conditioning, etc.).

The Huddle Hub solution
HRT’s Huddle Hub goes beyond the traditional wireless presentation on conference room displays: participants can send and receive presentations directly using their personal devices, so that any company environment can now be used as a collaboration space.
During every meeting there are presentation and video conferencing activities and the Huddle Hub is the only Wireless Presentation System that allows participants to truly interact BYOD cable-free with AV equipment. Participants can enter the meeting room with their laptops, sit comfortably wherever they like, and use their video conferencing software and AV equipment, all without having to connect a single cable.
