The EF-100W/B is Epson’s new proposal for 3LCD laser projection, a device that focuses on compactness and small dimensions.
Style and flexibility are the keywords of the new Epson EF-100W/B, the first portable laser video projector of the famous brand. Available from July, the EF-100W/B, with a length of only 23 cm, is also the smallest Epson video projector.
Equipped with a compact and lightweight frame, available in both white and black, the EF-100W/B uses Epson laser technology. By moving the air intakes and power supply to the side, and focusing on the concept of flexibility of use, Epson engineers have designed a compact video projector that can be placed anywhere and that can project in any direction and on any surface (walls, ceilings , floors). The maximum image size is 150 inches, while the projector expresses 2.000 lumens of brightness for a contrast ratio of 2.500.000: 1 and a HD resolution.
A further advantage is that even in daylight the laser light source provides a particularly sharp image. The automatic image adjustment function (vertical and horizontal keystone correction) also ensures distortion-free projections. Finally, the source has a life of 20.000 hours without the need for maintenance. Also as regard the configuration, the new EF-100W/B offer quick and intuitive controls. A remote control facilitates navigation through the menu, while with a simple HDMI cable it is possible to connect the projector to a smartphone, tablet, DVD player, console or laptop. For the use of streaming content, on the other hand, it’s sufficient to connect devices such as Amazon Fire TV, Google Chromecast, Roku and Apple TV. The plug and play design incorporates various audio options: built-in speakers, soundbar Bluetooth connectivity and a headphone jack.
