The stadiums are their natural environment: let’s talk about ArenaMatch, the Bose speakers designed for large installations, chosen by the Philips Stadion in Eindhoven, home of the famous PSV football team
The Philips Stadion, home of the matches of PSV Eindhoven, one of the leading Dutch football teams, has become the first facility in the world to install ArenaMatch DeltaQ line array systems and Bose Professional ArenaMatch Utility loudspeakers. The installation took place in the middle of the last championship: the Philips Stadion, a remarkable 35.000-seat facility, was thus able to greet the first game of the PSV return group with the new audio system, installed by Bazelmans AV.
The new Bose Professional ArenaMatch speaker line is designed to deliver quality sound, consistency, vocal clarity and flexibility in outdoor facilities, such as sports stadiums, arenas, entertainment centers and more.
The system installed at the Philips Stadion consists of 128 ArenaMatch outdoor line array modules, 56 ArenaMatch Utility AMU206 speakers and 24 ArenaMatch Utility AMU108 speakers, plus more than two dozen RoomMatch Utility RMU105 and RMU208 speakers. The system is controlled by over 50 networked PowerMatch PM8500N and PM4250N amplifiers and a dozen ControlSpace EX-1280C processors.
“The stadium audio system project was designed specifically for the Philips stadion”, said Frans Janssen, commercial director of PSV Eindhoven. “Cabinets and equipment are of the highest quality. This helps to ensure that the matches of the PSV that are played in this stadium are perceived at the same level as those of the Champions League, the level we want to reach.”
