The goal was to set up a smarter and more sustainable workspace; the choice fell on Sony TEOS, coupled with Sony BRAVIA professional displays, with attention to energy efficiency and Collaboration development
The location is truly fascinating: a new eight-storey eco-sustainable building in Paris. Capgemini, which boasts 50 years of experience in consultancy, technological services and digital transformation, is a global and multicultural company with over 200.000 employees in over 40 countries.
In July 2019, Capgemini inaugurated this new innovative building in Issy les Moulineaux, intended for employees of the Ile de France: 33.250 m² on eight floors, the building houses 3.500 employees and has 57 meeting rooms, 5 “Zen rooms”, playground and gym.
Designed to promote well-being, collaboration and creativity, the new workspace focuses on sustainability, thanks to a triple HQE certification and a very innovative use of geothermal energy. In line with this philosophy of sustainability and creativity, Capgemini needed an adequate management of the workspace and a new Digital Signage solution. Having already collaborated with Sony to simplify the management of the rooms and the signage in the offices in Milan, Nantes and Lille, Capgemini had no doubts about the choice of the technological partner for this new installation.
Sony, in collaboration with the installer Alliance Project, has therefore provided a complete management solution based on its TEOS suite with the main objective of simplifying the rooms, while providing an intuitive dashboard to manage the numerous Digital Signage monitors. Together with over 300 BRAVIA 4K professional displays, Sony has provided a complete solution that places technology at the center of the workspace.
Sony BRAVIA displays have been chosen for their bright screens, equipped with always-on connectivity functions and characterized by energy consumption values in line with Capgemini’s requests.
Among the other strengths of the installation, the advanced analytics and the dashboard-style interface of TEOS Manage, which provide AV and IT managers with detailed insights on the use of the devices. TEOS Digital Signage tools also offer particularly engaging content, which can be easily customized and remotely distributed in the office.
Finally, inside the meeting rooms, TEOS Connect allows employees or guests to present wirelessly from laptops to displays, improving meeting efficiency and reducing wiring. No additional hardware is required and up to four users can connect simultaneously, so Capgemini teams can get together and quickly collaborate.
Capgemini’s Infrastructure Manager commented: “Thanks to the close collaboration between Capgemini and Sony, a solution has been designed to reduce the time spent on maintenance and signage management, while creating an intuitive and elegant experience for visitors on campus. When we started working on the new office, we were sure that Sony would create a tailor-made solution that would meet our specific needs again. ”
