Our colleagues at Smart Building Italia have already been working for several months on Roma Innovation Hub, an event promoted by the National Council of Industrial Technicians and Graduate Industrial Technicians and the Network of Technical Professions in collaboration with Smart Building Italia. It will take place in Rome from 8 to 10 September at the Palazzo dei Congressi.
It is a project created to initiate a debate among design professionals, government, and social partners on the implementation of the Recovery and Resilience Plan at the national level and the European New Green Deal. The plenary program, to which more than 850 delegates from all the Orders and Colleges of Italy are expected to attend, will be followed by conferences on four major themes: Smart City and Smart Land (the cities of tomorrow and their territory), Smart Building (buildings as complex machines interacting with each other and with the inhabitants), Smart Mobility (sustainable and intelligent mobility) and Smart Services (networks, digital infrastructures, and software platforms). This will be followed by speeches by the event’s partners and workshops coordinated by the various Professional Orders in the afternoon.
Three days of ideas and discussion to define the role of the technical professions in the various areas of the green conversion of the economy, sustainability, and digitalization, areas where technical skills are increasingly central.
