The launch is scheduled for Tuesday, February 1, 2022 Purilian, music for all ears. Here is the first software capable of auto-composing music in real time.

The service, designed to create an environment of high acoustic comfort, is aimed primarily at commercial activities, but the fields of application can be endless. The idea comes from two young Florentine entrepreneurs active in the field of music production and scientific research. The music will be composed taking into consideration the type of activity, but also other parameters including weather, time of day or time of year. Since it is unrepeatable, it will not be subject to copyright and can be used freely anywhere.

Goodbye “random” music from shopping malls or waiting rooms. Here comes the first software capable of auto-composing music in real time designed to create an environment of high acoustic comfort. It’s called Purilian and it’s the service offered by the Florentine start-up of the same name, made up of two young Tuscan entrepreneurs: Cosimo Barberi, digital marketing specialist and former researcher at the University of Florence, and Matteo Zarcone, multifaceted artist and music producer of international fame. Starting from scientific studies, Purilian’s algorithm aims to create the most suitable musical atmosphere for different activities, taking into account – just to name a few examples – the weather, the time of day, the day of the week and the time of year.
Purilian will be the perfect melody for any space. It will create an environment of acoustic comfort for any type of user, aiming to increase the performance and usability of the space to which it is addressed”- says Cosimo Barberi – “We will give an unforgettable experience to the user and we will offer the operator the opportunity to broadcast the music without having to pay any additional license in addition to that of the Purilian service, totally eliminating the important expense of copyright and related rights, which especially in broadcasting for b2b environments is not adequately recognized to the authors themselves”.
The service will be available on the website starting Tuesday, February 1, 2022. “We wanted to use our musical and communication skills, collecting the most important scientific studies on how music improves our lives, our experiences and our daily activities, to develop a solution that creates contextual music” says Matteo Zarcone – “We taught the machine to compose in real time the soundtrack cut ad hoc, the right and essential background music for each activity, a music sewn on the hours of our day. Purilian is a work in continuous evolution that changes and adapts to our needs, like a sartorial dress created by the precious hands of a craftsman. Hence our motto: Purilian. Music is you”.
