Philips PDS Italy reshuffles its team, providing resources to the company’s international divisions.
Andrea Castelnuovo, new Sales Director Italy of Philips Professional Display Solutions, succeeds Simone Gagliardi promoted International Key Account Director, and appoints Andrea Greguoldo in the role of Sales Manager for the signage market.
From 1 July 2020, Andrea Castelnuovo will take over the role as Sales Director, Italy. Andrea joined the Italian sales team at Philips Professional Display Solutions as channel sales manager in 2016. He has played an important role in business turnaround in the country, helping to boost sales and profitability, overseeing signage distribution and major end user project and installations.

Castelnuovo will be responsible for maintaining and continuing to improve market share for Philips Professional Display Solutions in Italy, helping drive the brand and its portfolio into new markets. These include a new range of dedicated interactive displays, such as C-Line, B-Line and T-Line (Corporate and Education), as well as the extended MediaSuite Pro TV range (Hospitality), featuring embedded Netflix and Google Assistant.

New resources for the Philips IKAM Project
From 1 July 2020, Simone Gagliardi, who joined Philips Professional Display Solutions back in 2011, moves from his position as Sales Director for Italy to the position of International Key Account Director – Retail. Simone will bring his valuable experience to expand the International Key Account Management team, which will also see a number of positive changes in coming months.
As Sales Director, Simone played an intrinsic role in creating and building the Italian team for Philips Professional Display Solutions, achieving incredible growth and success. His responsibilities in his new role as International Key Account Director will include further building upon Philips PDS’s already established retail business on a European level, working closely with his team and partners to support retail projects.
Simone commented: “The retail market is an incredibly important part of the Philips Professional Display Solutions business and the team have worked hard to create a now market-leading, complete range of state of the art and truly innovative solutions designed exclusively to support them – whether it’s a single signage solution to help maintain social distancing, or a giant videowall which will make people stop in their tracks”.
Growth prospects for the LED market
Completing the reorganization of the Italy team, Andrea Greguoldo joins Philips Professional Display Solutions as Sales Manager for the signage market, thanks to a highly sought after and accredited LED Specialist profile and more than 10-years pro AV experience.
After two years at Samsung Electronics, where he held senior sales management positions, including LED project sales manager and more recently, key account manager and LED specialist, Andrea will be responsible for driving sales and awareness of Philips Professional Display Solutions’ expanding range of LED solutions to the Italian marketplace, identifying new business opportunities, nurturing and maintaining existing relationships and spearheading sales and marketing strategies.
