New video conferencing capabilities to enhance the meeting room collaboration experience with Philips Professional Displays.
The partnership between PPDS and Logitech integrates an advanced range of video conferencing solutions with Philips display series dedicated to the corporate and education sectors, to offer unmatched collaboration capabilities in hybrid learning workspaces. As part of a “Total Solutions” strategy, PPDS presents the evolution of the partnership with Logitech – supplier of USB video conferencing devices – which aims to create one of the most complete and inclusive experiences of collaboration and learning, with Philips professional displays, for the corporate and education markets.
Before the pandemic, the sector was already thriving, valued at more than 4.8 billion euros, with an expected growth of 9.2 billion euros by 2027. With the current global situation, the role of reliable and high-quality professional videoconferencing solutions has assumed an absolutely primary value. In fact, it is the chosen way to communicate with colleagues, partners, customers, or with students of hybrid, mixed and distance education. Many companies already take a video-first approach to support and inspire their teams.
High quality, flexible and plug & play solutions
Philips-Logitech combined solutions offer plug & play connectivity, compatibility and seamless integration, and are designed to meet the specific needs and requirements of the environments in which they will be used. For corporate environments, PPDS offers the Philips C-Line interactive UHD series – with Windows or Android on board and Crestron Connected certified – and the Philips B-Line range – with integrated Chromecast, Crestron Connected certified and compatible with Extron and Neets – for huddle rooms and smaller work and meeting spaces.
For education environments, a new range of Logitech solutions can now integrate with the Philips T-Line 4K multitouch series for smarter and more engaging learning in the classroom or remotely. The new Logitech solutions include Brio, Rally Bar Mini, Rally Bar and Rally Plus that allow simple and immediate video conferencing sessions, with one-touch and direct connections on user features such as GoTo, Microsoft, Zoom, Pexip and RingCentral.
Tim de Ruiter, PPDS International Business Manager, said: “Logitech’s advanced video conferencing technology adds even more quality to the Philips professional display range and allows us to offer the market one of the most comprehensive and high-performance all-in-one solutions.” Angie Mayo, Logitech’s Global Alliance & Go-to-Market Manager, concluded: “With displays increasingly becoming indispensable collaboration tools in every workspace, our customers are demanding flexible, high-quality, and easily deployable solutions on a large scale. With Philips we can make meeting rooms of any size video-enabled.”
