With the acquisition of the Connessioni brand and the know-how of the historic magazine, the Smart Building Italia network is strengthened, which aims decisively at the promotion of Professional Audio Video systems.
Not everything is at a standstill in this prolonged lockdown. Anticipating the current trends that see the technologies, skills and markets of home and building automation converge in the broad concept of “System Integration”, Pentastudio acquires the experience of the Florentine magazine Connessioni and its specific know-how in the field of ‘Professional Audio Video.’
The common goal is to launch an innovative integrated communication project, with the aim of promoting and fostering dialogue between the most advanced and innovative plant engineering sectors, with a careful eye on the so-called Professional End Users. The agreements, which aim to strengthen the Smart Building Italia Network, enhancing the system integration trend in which Connessioni has been operating for 15 years, will see Pentastudio take over as the publisher of the historic magazine and all the multimedia products connected to it. The responsible director will be Luca Baldin, former Pentastudio Project Manager, while the editorial and commercial management will be entrusted, continuously, to Chiara Benedettini and her staff.
With this operation, Pentastudio and Connessioni aim to lay the foundations for a new integrated communication model, based on a holistic vision of the world of plant engineering in the home, building and city scopes. “We had approached this world a few years ago, at the beginning of the history of Smart Building Italia, trying to get to know each other and understand what the points of contact could be.” declares Luca Baldin, Pentastudio Project Manager. “And then we started a path that little by little brought us closer to Connessioni, probably the most authoritative voice of this sector in Italy. This is how the merger project of our projects was born, aiming at the creation of a real national network in the system integration sector which has as its strengths the trade fairs we carry out in Milan and Bari. Smart Building Italia plus Connessioni will be in this sense much more than just the sum of two parts.” Pentastudio thus continues to weave its network of alliances and collaborations, strongly grown in this strange year of closures and pandemics, with the aim of becoming a reference point for marketing and training in the sector, as soon as the situation returns to normal.
“We see Pentastudio and Smart Building Italia as an ideal home for our ideas and for our project, a perfect partner to make it happen, thanks to the great experience it has in field and the practically complete range of tools that it makes available to us, increased by those that Connessioni brings as a dowry.” declares Chiara Benedettini. “The technological innovation world is experiencing an important paradigm shift: Systems Integration has now become an ‘inclusive’ design approach; it promises to be a great opportunity to relaunch and create value for the interlocutors, expanding the area of market, extending its opportunities, and helping companies to achieve their goals. I am sure we will do an excellent job together.”
Innovation and integration are the keywords that the two realities have immediately shared and that will now be able to express themselves at their best thanks to the remarkable synergies that they will create and make the Smart Building Italia network truly unique on a national level. The advanced plant engineering and System Integration market will have thus a practically complete set of marketing tools available, made up of trade fairs of national and international importance, specialised publishing and information and qualified training, both analogue and digital.
