The new Panasonic VF2 series offers multi-screen configurations with 0,44mm ultra-thin bezel, for retail applications, public spaces and control rooms
Panasonic has announced a new range of LCD displays for Video Walls, the VF2 Series, available for the European market starting from this month of May. The new VF2H and VF2 displays are equipped with ultra-thin bezels and allow multi-screen configurations, ideal for use in retail, in public spaces, in control rooms and in meeting rooms, in short, for all situations where are required large and high impact digital signage indoor installations.
The images, sharp even at close range and visible from any angle thanks to IPS technology, are a fundamental element especially for use inside control rooms and meeting rooms. The new Panasonic VF2 Series displays also offer a wide choice of connectivity, limited depth and high reliability: the displays are designed for continuous 24-hour operation, and in case of interruption of the audio/video signals, the system, thanks to the integrated failover and failback functions, it immediately switches to alternative signals to automatically restore the original signals when they become available again.
The ultra-thin frames (just 0,88 mmbezel-to-bezel) also guarantee the reproduction of large format images with exceptional emotional impact on the viewer. The D-LED LCD models are both 55” frameless and offer variable brightness from 700 cd/m2 of the VH2H model to 500 cd/m2 of the VF2 model. To ensure visibility from any angle, the surfaces of both IPS panels have been designed to eliminate external reflections.
Each multiscreen display is also pre-calibrated to minimize color differences and ensure an always vivid image quality, as well as an easy 24/7 configuration. Thanks to the backlighting, both displays ensure automatic brightness adjustment and high contrast performance with optimized power levels for longer lasting use.
Finally, the displays are equipped with DIGITAL LINK technology, which guarantees a simple installation and configuration process. Developed on HDBaseT technology, DIGITAL LINK supports the transmission of control, video and audio signals over long distances and can be used to connect several screens via a single cable – thus eliminating the need for video splitters and other connecting devices.
