Panasonic has announced a new Series of 4K Video Wall LFV8 display, with 49” and 55” models
Panasonic’s new monitors are able to display 4K images in 2×2 configurations and upwards, mainly thanks to Daisy Chain’s DisplayPort connectivity.
The 49-inch model offers a brightness of 450 cd/m2, while the 55” model reaches 500 cd/m2 with native DisplayPort inputs and outputs, compatible with the 4K. If installed in 2×2 configuration, the four Full HD panels can produce a single 4K video image (4096 x 2160/30p).
The new range is therefore designed to meet the needs of companies and professionals, thanks to an innovative video wall mounting system that reduces installation times and cost of labor. The rigid frame incorporates an automatic magnetic system that eliminates potential misalignments, allowing easier mounting of the monitors.
Further features are the minimum distance between frames (3,5mm), IPS (In-Plane Switching) technology, which ensures optimum image viewing from any angle, essential for digital signage applications, and 24/7 operation in both horizontal and vertical orientation. The 49” display is also equipped with Anti-Glare treatment and Anti-Reflection (AGLR) coating.
According to Enrique Robledo, Panasonic’s European Marketing Manager, these new displays are “perfect for retail, hospitality or transportation, as they are ideal tools to attract attention in any crowded context. At the same time, the extremely flexible installation allows you to make the best use of any available space.”
The 55” model (TH-55LFV8) is available from August 2017, while the 49” (TH-49LFV8) comes on the market in September.
