Distributed in Italy by Prase Media Technologies, the InOut Digital brand offers a new range of infrared motion sensors, called PYR.
InOut Digital has presented three new models of passive infrared motion sensors, to work in combination with connected players. The proximity or motion sensor automatically activates the player every time it detects a minimum movement. When the last person leaves the detection area, and after the set timing period has elapsed, the connected player ends the memorized programming.
In the case of an environment frequented by many people, the motion sensor will continue to detect movements, unless it is blocked by activating the appropriate Inibhit input.
Let’s briefly see the available models, starting from PYR-S5, which offers a maximum range of five meters, TTL pos/neg outputs, delay time adjustable up to a maximum of 10 seconds, blocking time between two detections adjustable up to 13 seconds , external on/off input and 5-24Vdc power supply. Available in both white (PYR-S5/W) and anthracite gray (PYR-S5/D), it’s a very suitable sensor for all InOut players, in particular for the NP-10 model.
PYR-S12 is a passive infrared motion sensor with a maximum range of 12 meters, instead of the 5 of the previous model, with which it shares all the essential characteristics. The model PYR-S12/W is white, while PYR-S12/D is anthracite gray. Suitable for NP-10, NP-5 and NP-2 players.
Finally, PYR-L12 has a range of action, like the previous model, of 12 meters, but in addition it has relay contact outputs No/Nc, delay time adjustable up to one minute, blocking time between two detections adjustable up to even at 12 minutes, external on/off input and 5-24 Vdc power supply. This model is also available in white or anthracite gray, and is universally valid, since it’s designed to be combined with all InOut Digital players. The wide range of pauses between two motion detections allows you to combine audio messages with advertising panels, totems and other communication systems.
