BenQ presented the first PANTONE Validated digital signage display: 65”, 4K UHD resolution, this new display is particularly suitable for the design, creativity and retail sectors thanks to the new extraordinary (and certified) color profile management.
It’s called SL6502K and is part of the Smart Signage series. The new display for digital signage applications (and not only) presented by BenQ offers a fundamental novelty: it’s the first display to have obtained the Pantone Validated certification, and is able to provide professionals complete services with regards to color management in design, creativity and retail applications.
More than 10 million designers and producers in the world use Pantone products and services to define, communicate and control colors from the inspiration to the realization phase, using X-Rite technology to homogenize colors in numerous materials and finishes for graphics, fashion and product design. Pantone standards include physical and digital color specifications and tools, while the Pantone Color Institute offers customizable color standards, brand identity and product color consulting, but also trend forecasts including Pantone Color of the Year, Fashion Runway Color Trend Reports, color psychology and more. In short, Pantone provides a universal language that allows brands and manufacturers to make decisions about colors at every stage of processing.
BenQ SL6502K is therefore a synthesis of BenQ technology, which offers 4K UHD resolution, and Pantone Validated certification: the result is a 65” surface with very vivid and engaging images. In fact, the display ensures very high color fidelity on the screen, interoperability with other Pantone certified color reproduction devices and greater versatility in color adjustment, through Cinema, Photo and MBook modes, fully customizable and designed for create visual impact content and engaging interactions.
The Pantone certification is the big news, but the BenQ SL6502K display does not give up the well-known “flagships”: first of all, it’s an all-in-one display, with guaranteed 24/7 operation, ideal for digital signage and retail. In addition, to facilitate content management, BenQ SL6502K includes the X-Sign 2.0 software, with more than 150 templates available for creating, distributing and programming customized schedules.
