It’s called UC M40 and it’s an All-in-One 360° camera with automatic tracking, designed for small meeting room spaces.  A new solution perfect for functional and fast meetings, without encumbrances and without the need for specific technical skills.

MAXHUB, one of the world’s leading providers of collaboration solutions for business and education, is pleased to introduce the new UC M40 All-In-One camera, which boasts a 360-degree range and is designed for small meeting rooms, including corporate spaces that are not equipped for meetings but can be used for meetings with a product like the UC M40.

Small and powerful

In fact, the UC M40 is small enough to fit in your hand, and integrates four 4K cameras to create a camera capable of 360-degree movement in the environment, all in a slim, lightweight, portable and elegant design. The camera requires no external devices or complex setup procedures to operate: installation is simple and operation is intuitive. Intelligent speaker detection and automatic tracking help create a truly immersive meeting experience… 360 degrees! The camera automatically follows the speaker, giving them freedom of movement and the ability to express themselves naturally, without having to worry about the camera angle or predetermined positions.

A rich set of features

The wide-angle panoramic image ensures that every person at the table appears front and center on the screen, while the four 5 MP lenses allow the UC M40 to capture each attendee’s face clearly and without distortion. Designed to turn even the most difficult spaces into profitable meeting places, the new MAXHUB UC M40 is quick and easy to use. In Standalone mode, the camera delivers full performance right out of the box – simply plug it in via USB and start the meeting, without the need to install software or complex configuration procedures. Users can easily select a collaboration scenario with a touch, and automatic tracking technology will do the rest.

Seven framing modes available

Depending on the type of meeting, users can choose from seven “scenarios”: Discussion, Beamforming, Panoramic, Quad View, Portrait, Compose and Split. In addition, for even more precise performance, the UC M40 also offers a Professional mode, where users can adjust a wide variety of settings, from shooting angles to customized viewing layouts, as well as automatic tracking.

Darren Lin, General Manager Maxhub, says, “UC M40 is surprisingly compact and powerful meeting tool. With simple controls, users can select the most appropriate framing for meeting participants, and UC M40’s technology is compatible with all popular video conferencing applications, including Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, Zoom and Skype, so users will find it easy to integrate the system into their existing meeting setups.”
