The conference entitled “Sport, technology, the future” is scheduled for Monday 9 March. It will be the first meeting between operators in the world of sport and innovative startups, who will present 2.0 solutions dedicated to making the sport sector more agile, faster and connected
MIR TECH will be held from 8 to 10 March 2020 in Rimini. Among the topics that will be addressed during the meeting sessions, also the latest and most innovative technologies at the service of sport. The conference dedicated to these issues will be held on Monday 9 March 2020, further proof that the event organized by the Italian Exhibition Group is no longer linked only to its “classic” themes (Light, Sound, Visual, Integrated System & Broadcast), but looks beyond and also extends conceptually. Now in its fifth edition, the event demonstrates an increasingly innovative character and takes a further step forward by talking about sport and technology, also thanks to the experience of IEG as an organizer of major sporting events.
The “Sport Technology” project will therefore be inaugurated with this year edition of MIR TECH, and the inauguration act will be the conference “The Sport, the technology, the future” curated by Roberto Ghiretti and dedicated to the operators of the sector: sports leagues and clubs, operators of facilities and ticketing services as well as organizers of sporting events.
The main themes are obviously the role of technology and the ways in which it makes – or can make – the whole sector more agile and efficient. The seminar is intended as a moment of encounter between professionals and many brilliant startups that promise to revolutionize the market by exploiting the most cutting-edge technologies.
A number of personalities who play a leading role in the world of sport will participate in the Round Table – for example, Marco Aloi, Marketing & Sponsorship Director Legabasket and Niccolò Donna, FIGC Research and Development Manager – as well as companies that will tell their success stories and their innovative projects.
The most important topics will be the new ways of using virtual assistants (Alexa, Google Assistant) for community management and fan engagement strategies in the sports field, innovative services for buying and selling tickets for football matches, next-gen localization technologies, ticketing services 2.0, social walls dedicated to increasing engagement during sporting events and much more.
The two-hour meeting will begin at 10,30 on Monday 9 March 2020. Registration is required on the official website of the event to participate.
