LG’s 65-inch UltraFine OLED Pro monitor offers professional tools for proper color adjustment. Ideal for audiovisual entertainment, photography and production studios.
LG Business Solutions introduces the 65EP5G professional monitor, the new addition to the UltraFine OLED Pro range and winner of the prestigious Red Dot 2021 and IF Design Awards 2021. Thanks to its OLED technology and various features for control and image quality it is a perfect solution for professional use and, more specifically, for those working in graphic and creative studios and film post production studios.
The UltraFine OLED Pro monitor features a UHD (3,840×2,160) screen in 16:9 aspect ratio with variable brightness from 200 to 1000 nits and 178-degree viewing angle.
OLED technology enables this new monitor to reproduce more realistic images thanks to the infinite contrast ratio, deeper blacks and wide range of reproducible colors (DCI-P3 at 98.5%). The unique visual experience offered by OLED technology is also dictated by the fast response time, 0.1ms GTG (Gray-to-Gray) that allows for clear and blur-free images.
This solution is perfect for broadcast productions thanks to 4 SDI inputs with output carryover and SFP+ port, but also 2 HDMI inputs, Genlock, serial and IP controls. Color calibration is provided by LG’s proprietary software SuperSign WB or alternatively the most common in this field CalMAN. It also supports programmable 1D and 3D LUT devices for quick selection of color calibration profiles and meets EYESAFE standards for reduced impact from blue light emitted from the screen to the user’s eyes.
The 65EP5G monitor’s user interface offers a number of options for controlling image quality and storing presets so that they can be quickly recalled via function keys located on the front control panel.
In addition to the classic brightness, contrast and color adjustments, it is possible to use professional tools such as Scan Option, Aspect Ratio, Zoom, Color Temp, RGB Gain, EOTF (Electro-Optical Transfer Function), Color Space, Mono/Blue-only, Marker, Vectorscope/Waveform, Time Code, HDR/SDR Monitoring, UMD (Under Monitor Display), Pattern, Audio Level Meter, etc.
The level of usability is also high thanks to the front control panel that includes function keys, selection knob and status LEDs.
