Ideal for professionals and gamers, featuring the new “Ergo” design and – for gaming – the latest generation 1 ms (GTG) IPS display with Ultra HD 4K resolution, the new LG series will be among the main novelties of the CES 2020
The new generation of LG Electronics monitors, presented at CES 2020, has been designed to enrich the user experience thanks to an improved design and cutting-edge performance. These are the LG models of the 2020 UltraFine, UltraGear and UltraWide series, which we will now see more closely.
The 32” UltraFine “Ergo” 4K UHD monitor (model 32UN880), already winner of the CES Innovation Award 2020, is a solution that combines three key elements: image fidelity, ergonomic design and USB-C connection that allow high quality performance, greater user comfort and more order on the desk. The LG Ergo stand was developed for professionals and for all those who spend a lot of time at the desk: with its many adjustment possibilities, it allows the user to create customized workstations. You can also fully rotate the stand to share information with colleagues in front of you. Ultimately, the monitor can be positioned at the desired height, distance and angle.
The new LG UltraGear gaming monitors (27GN950, 34GN850 and 38GN950 models) confirm the reputation of the line, known for its response time and image quality. The new 27” model with Ultra HD 4K resolution (27GN950), winner of the CES Innovation Award, uses 1ms Nano IPS technology with a 144Hz refresh rate, overclockable at 160Hz. Designed to offer an immersive experience for gamers, the UltraGear 34GN850 and 38GN950 models also have large 21:9 format displays and 1 ms IPS panel and a 160 Hz refresh rate. In addition, all models are certified VESA DisplayHDR 600, while the 34GN850 supports VESA DisplayHDR 400. Both monitors integrate new, more solid and stable support.
Finally, the UltraWide series is enhanced with the 38” QWN+ monitor model 38WN95C, with curved design and 3.840×1.600 resolution. The monitor offers a 1ms Nano IPS display, 144 Hz refresh rate and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible certificate. Equipped with Thunderbolt 3 connectivity, this model is designed for any workstation and allows you to simultaneously work on multiple contents.
CES 2020 visitors could experience the image quality and speed of the new Ultra LG monitors at Central Hall’s booth #11100 in the Las Vegas Convention Center. For those who couldn’t go to Nevada, the hashtag to follow LG updates to CES 2020 on social media is #LGCES202020.
