Back from our summer break, we are already at work on the topics of the next issue, in which we will discuss the dialogue between creativity and technology
Eyes (and ears) open, namely, on visual technologies: in the last few months we have noticed many examples of art exhibitions adopting big projections or augmented reality techniques, and events where sounds, lights and images intertwine. Is it therefore creativity that is asking for new technological tools, or is it technology that has offered new tools to creative entities and art? Moreover, as emerges from several interviews that we are conducting, this phenomenon is opening a new and extremely lively commercial front, which is worth monitoring.
In our next issue, we will try to analyze trends and trace the state-of-the-art of technological evolution, collecting the opinions of experts and representative case studies. The aim is to develop some core questions: what new opportunities do new technologies offer? What are the needs of creative entities, and what are those of manufacturing companies? Are we perhaps facing the blurring of the barriers between art and technology, or just a partial redefinition of already-existing professionalism? What role does the integration of traditional media play in all this?
Finally, our autumnal events are already appearing on the horizon: on 13 and 14 September we will be in Fairfax, hosted by InfoComm, for an international press conference and the traditional moment of exchange among associates… without any doubt, there will be much news. Moreover, we have already confirmed our participation in Illuminotronica, in Padua from the12th to the 14th of October, and in Sicurezza/All Digital – this year part of a joint presence that will take place in Milan from the 15th to the 17th of November. A new stop of our Roadshow on the topic of Smart Environments, dedicated to architects and engineers, is being defined.
But we are still at the end of August… we will keep you updated! Keep on following us and, for any observation or stimulus, feel free to write at redazione@connessioni.biz.
