High performance and extreme scalability: these are the basic features of the new Kramer proposal for AVoIP streaming, a solution developed for any application where distribution and switching of low latency 4K content are required.
Kramer has launched KDS-7, a new complete AVoIP streaming solution designed for a variety of applications, which focuses on a completely new user experience, as well as corporate IT security and advanced yet intuitive management. KDS-7 is ideally designed for corporate, educational, homeland security, military or government facilities of any size. Created as a complete solution, the KDS-7 product line includes a range of networked endpoints, including auto-switching encoders and decoders, as well as a dedicated management device, and supports 1K video sources by easily adapting to AV needs of numerous environments and different locations, for companies or campuses of any size. Enterprise-grade IT security, built into all KDS-7 devices, protects your network.
The KDS-7 product line also extends AvoIP benefits, because the AV encoders and decoders are connected to the endpoints of the corporate IP network. Thanks to the switching power of the IP network, the traditional limitations of AV implementations are eliminated, which otherwise would be constrained by the number of physical AV ports on the hardware as well as by the need for a significant amount of space and energy. This simplified approach allows the insertion of a large number of devices on a single network and also makes their expansion even simpler and less expensive.
Kramer’s AVoIP offering is already widely recognized for its ability to provide high scalability and flexibility. With the KDS-7 line, Kramer therefore plans to further expand the scalability and flexibility features of its solutions. Plug-and-play integration into any IP network accelerates deployment and significantly reduces costs. To seal this launch, a comment from Gilad Yron, CEO of Kramer Electronics: “At Kramer” – he said – “we are proud to be a leader in creating AVoIP products that accelerate hybrid work, enhance hybrid learning on campus and the performance of command and control centers in large-scale installations. Our new KDS-7 AVoIP product line further promotes this mission by providing a superior user experience with its ability to support a large number of video sources, with low latency, fast switching, intuitive manageability and advanced security features.”
