New products from Candy, Hoover and Haier tell a new smart-home experience where you are the star!
After a two-year wait, from Sept. 2-6 Haier Europe is back in the spotlight at IFA Berlin, the most important event dedicated to the world of technology, innovation and the best in consumer electronics.
A key stage to present to the world new solutions where IoT is the protagonist in environments created ad hoc for Candy, Hoover and Haier. The consumer is invited to live a new home experience, starting with proposals that are not only functional, but also with an
appealing and renewed design. The exhibition space, located in Hall 3.1, covers an area of 3700 square meters and tells a new vision of the smart home. A journey into connectivity where the key stages are the new products, designed with technological solutions that come to life interacting with visitors, involving them in unique moments.
Haier Europe’s primary goal is to meet the needs of every consumer through continuous technological innovation, to the careful use of artificial intelligence, and to an always up-to-date design study: the perfect “zero distance” style. Thanks to a widespread connection between products, ecosystems shaped around people’s lives are created that manage to anticipate desires and offer solutions that simplify and improve the routines of daily life.
A starring role is once again played by the hOn app, the platform that allows people to govern all appliances of the three brands and have access to a multitude of services thanks to an ever-expanding selection of partners, based on an ecosystem built on
scenarios. Recently 4.5 million registered users have been reached on the hOn app. Candy, Hoover and Haier are unveiled in three distinct macro-areas, dynamic and connected places, with three immersive pathways that also unfold through stations dedicated to the discovery of new products and range must-haves. Events, animations, and international show cooking will contribute to an immersive user experience.

IFA 2022 is also an important time to share the company’s major achievements, including the opening of new facilities. In 2021, the construction of two new factories in Romania and Turkey was completed, specializing respectively in the
production of refrigerators and dryers. In 2022, production also started in the new factory dedicated to the production of dishwashers in Turkey.
All new factories are best-in-class and are designed to improve production capacity, product availability, and range flexibility. The new plants play a key role in the go-to-market and customer centricity strategy.
Haier: Connect to Extraordinary
The Haier ecosystem – the world’s No. 1 brand in large home appliances* – represents the ultimate narrative of a story that combines design, technology and tailor-made scenarios. The title of this narrative is “Connect to Extraordinary,” which features the hOn app with which the
potential of all household appliances is maximized, bringing to a level of extraordinary
efficiency the personalized management of the home. The multiple functionalities of the products come to life on large screens that project the visitor inside scenarios where connection becomes the tool to improve everyday life.
IFA 2022 is the perfect opportunity to show the world the new WashPass service available on a pay-per-wash basis. An ultratechnological connected washing machine that automatically doses 4 specific detergents designed to achieve maximum washing performance with minimal user effort.
The Connect to Extraordinary experience continues with washing and drying solutions that make use of advanced technologies to ensure maximum care for laundry and the environment, ensuring an unprecedented level of hygiene. In washing we also find the new SUPERDRUM models that feature the largest drum on the market. In the kitchen I-PRO SHINE is the answer for those looking for a dishwasher that does not compromise on performance. Perfect after taking advantage of CHEF@HOME SERIES 6’s latest Artificial Intelligence inside™ technologies.
In the cooling area, there is no shortage of must-haves and the most anticipated new products, such as CUBE 90 SERIES – which thanks to the artificial becomes the center of the entire home ecosystem – or CUBE 90 SERIES 7 and FD 90 SERIES 7 – the multi-doors equipped with the revolutionary Absolute Ice technology – the only system tested on the market that guarantees ice up to 10 times purer. Thanks to a scenic interactive ice cube, the functions and features of the two multidoors will come to life, projecting the visitor into a new experience for refrigeration.
Candy: Simplify your Day
Candy is the perfect synthesis of unmistakable Italian design, brilliant ideas and democratic connectivity. In Berlin, the brand tells its story through Simplify your Day, the installation that includes smart solutions surrounded by creations by young artists, in which visitors can immerse themselves in
multisensory environments and enter the Candy world.
At the entrance, an interactive wall reproduces everyday scenarios where household chores are solved in original ways. The heart of the exhibition pulsates in the “touch&feel” space where it is possible to get in touch with the smartest expression of Candy maximized by the services offered by the hOn app.
In the area dedicated to the dishwasher Rapido’ real and virtual meet on a mega-screen, revealing the main technological innovations available. By taking a photo, on the other hand, it is possible to create new, highly personal versions of the Fresco refrigerator, placing your own image
inside the various shelves. The journey continues into the endless world of smart functions of Candy’s new washing machines and dryers, such as the latest addition to the RapidÓ PRO family, the dryer with the most complete series of rapid cycles on the market, or Aquamatic, the smallest washing machine available for its category, displayed in the Design Hub in a colorful limited edition.
The I-case refrigerator that is dressed in the creativity of young artists, students from Milan’s European Institute of Design (IED) and the winner of the MDW22 contest. The MODERNA – with shapes characterized by stainless steel and glass – and ESSENZA – which focuses on style and minimalism – collections will be the protagonists of dynamic showcooking, where it will be possible to test the brand’s solutions thanks to guest chefs who will cook live!
Hoover: Quality for Life
A deep dive into the performance and connectivity of Hoover products through augmented reality experiences that emphasize the brand’s connection to design and technology, what “Quality for life” represents for Hoover: performance in the service of well-being and
quality of life in one’s home environment. The needs and requirements of consumers are at the center of an impactful project that aims to show the public the latest technological solutions where the meaning of “high performance” is expanded. Visitors will be able to perceive
immediately quality in all its parts, be surprised by the minimal and renewed design and all the innovative functions inherent to sanitation.
The absolute star of IFA is the new HF9 cordless electric broom with outstanding features: the perfect balance of power and real autonomy to clean the whole house by fulfilling all consumers’ wishes.
IFA is also an opportunity to present the selection of very important new products from the Hoover brand.
The new washing machines H-WASH 700, which provides 20 percent improved washing performance in reduced depth, and H-DRY 550, the perfect match in terms of design and functionality. In the kitchen we find the H-DISH 700 PRO, top of the new range of dishwashers that ensures maximum care for delicate dishes such as wine glasses, and The H-OVEN 500 Steam Plus oven that takes advantage of steam or low temperatures thanks to Steam&Taste technology. The cooling world welcomes the H-FRIDGE 700 the refrigerator that uses total no-frost Air Care technology to
keep food as fresh as it was on day one.
