Cedia has released at ISE its first set of dates for its established training and education programme in 2017, that will offer two new business courses
Alongside its most popular lighting and design courses, exam certifications and manufacturer and distributor training, Cedia, global association that serves more than 30,000 industry professionals that manufacture, design, and integrate goods and services for the connected home, has revealed two brand new business focussed education courses have been added to its 2017 education scheme. As confirmed by the CEO, Vincent Bruno, during the press conference at ISE 2017, training and education are a really represent an important perspective in Cedia activities. For that, the newly formed, one-day business courses, Developing a Competitive Commercial Strategy for Your Business and Consultative Selling Skills Training, have been designed to arm attendees with the key tools required to maximize business opportunities and success in the home technology industry. The first one is aimed at established and start-up businesses and explores the skills required to develop, implement and deliver a robust business strategy that can make or break a commercial business. Developed for sales personnel and managers, Consultative Selling Skills Training encourages attendees to maximize business opportunities in the custom install industry by effectively selling premium solutions.
These two new courses sit alongside an ever growing education programme that Cedia offers home technology professionals. This year, some of the old favourites make a return, including The Principles of Project Management, Residential Networking, Home Cinema for Designers and Rack Building and Wiring Fundamentals. Cedia has released the 2017 Training and Curriculum Guide which lists the full training programme for the year.
