A new class D amplifier, a new presentation switcher and a serial interface: these are the news just announced in the Ecler catalog
The Ecler brand, distributed in Italy by Exhibo, expands its catalog in various sections. Let’s start with the amplifiers, with the new eHSA 4-60, a 4x60W class D multi-channel amplifier that occupies a single rack unit. An important feature of this amplifier is its ability to operate on both high (70/100V) and low (4/8Ω) impedance lines, with thermal protection, convection ventilation and independent auto stand-by for each channel. eHSA 4-60 therefore allows the input channels to be connected together in order to distribute the same signal to some or all of the output channels.
Another important new feature is the new 4×1 4K VEO SWM44 Presentation Switcher: two HDMI 2.0 inputs, a USB-C, a wireless input via VEOcast and an HDMI 2.0 output. With bandwidth up to 18Gbps and resolution up to 4K@60Hz YUV 4: 4: 4, this new switcher supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision, is compatible with HDCP 2.2 and is also web configurable. The wireless input via VEOcast is very important, which allows BYOD applications.
Finally, the classic less striking but very useful novelty: ETH232AD, announced as “soon available”, is a new serial interface that allows transparent bidirectional transmission between RS-232/422/485 and Ethernet devices. Configurable via web with a special page, this product allows you to use EclerNet Manager to control various devices via RS-232. A few examples? The CA series amplifiers, the DAM614 processor or, again, the new VEO SWH44 video switcher, which we talked about above. These and many other products, even from third parties, can be controlled thanks to the new ETH232AD interface.
