Epson has launched the PU2200U range, a new generation of ultra-light, high-brightness 3LCD laser projectors. The series includes new 20.000 lumen laser models that are particularly small, light and compact.
After the undeniable success of the EB-L20000U series, Epson launches the new PU2200U range of high brightness 3LCD video projectors, with the EB-PU2220B and EB-PU2120W 20,000 lumens models which, compared to their predecessor EB-L20000U, are about 70% smaller and 50% lighter. In short, the new compact and ultra-light 3LCD laser projectors with high brightness.
Designed for large auditoriums, live events, concerts, conference halls and other places where engagement is very important, the new models offer multiple benefits, including low weight and compact size, ease of installation and configuration, simplified maintenance and high image quality. From an energy point of view, they obviously consume much less and are characterized, moreover, by a packaging with a low ecological impact, which also brings benefits at an environmental level.
Collectively, the PU2200 series includes 13.000, 16.000 and 20.000 lumen laser models with WUXGA resolution, 4K Enhancement, HDR and advanced installation capabilities, as well as offering various attractive features for the rental and installation industry, such as existing Epson lens compatibility. By easily integrating with existing infrastructures, these projectors offer installation versatility and minimal maintenance.
Thanks to the integrated processing for PC-free stacking, it’s possible to stack two projectors to double the brightness without using external hardware components. Other features include NFC technology for easier installation and communication between NFC-compatible projectors and Android mobile devices, even when the projector is turned off.
The laser module and the hermetically sealed optical engine (both IP5x3 certified) offer greater protection against dust infiltration and contamination, without the need for a filter, thus increasing the life of the device and reducing maintenance. In addition, we remind you that Epson uses a high-performance liquid cooling system.
To seal the new launch, a comment from Massimo Pizzocri, Vice President Video Projector Sales & Marketing Division of Epson Europe: “In an increasingly important and continuously growing market such as that of video projectors” – he said – “our new 20.000 lumen models allow you to reduce not only installation time and shipping costs, but also the environmental impact. To design them, we also listened to the needs of customers, so as to better respond to market demand.”
