DuoNet Player was conceived of to become the source of audio content in simple and complex installations, both in corporate applications (such as in offices or for messaging in companies) and in retail or the educational world. It is an instrument that is ideal for broadcasting music, announcements, or communications in one or more zones and can be used both as a stand-alone unit and within a structured network on which third-party devices rely.
DuoNet, as the name suggests, manages two independent audio fluxes, both for local content (for this it is equipped with both a USB and an SD slot for flash drives and cards), and for audio coming from the internet or the network itself. The unit can be programmed and remotely-managed thanks to the compatibility with EclerNet Manager, Ecler’s software that allows for defining and configuring a vast audio system; remote control is furthermore possible even with personal devices (compatibility with iOS, Windows and Android), or through IR connection, at least for base functions. The program also allows defining possible priorities in sharing messages (for advertising, or for emergency announcements, for example), or precise timing and manner of broadcast.
From the point of view of connectivity, DuoNet features two audio stereo outputs, an Ethernet RJ45 port (for network connection, for EclerNet, and for the reception of streaming and network audio), an RS-232 serial and four GPIs (General Purpose Input).
DuoNet Player by Ecler is distributed in Italy by Exhibo, like the other products from the Spanish manufacturer.
