The Casio stand at Didacta 2018, which was held in Florence from 17 to 20 October, presented the Japanese company’s offer for the educational sector, in particular the new Lamp Free projectors.
Didacta, the fair dedicated to Educational technologies, was held for the second time in its history in Italy, in Florence, where it took place between 17 and 20 October. Among the participants, also Casio with a large 70 square meter stand, in which the focus was primarily on the projectors with LampFree technology.
This technology eliminates the mercury vapor lamp by replacing it with a laser-LED hybrid source, and is enjoying growing success in the Educational field. The LampFree projectors, in fact, are able to operate up to 20.000 hours without maintenance and without having to change neither the filters nor, much less, the lamps, which are not there. 20.000 hours equals, providing for an 8-hour use per day, over twelve years, if approximately 200 school days per year are calculated.
Moreover, LampFree technology allows to limit the decrease in brightness caused by the wear of the lamp.
In his stand, during Didacta Italia, Casio also illustrated the services in support of the Institutes and Universities, such as free demonstrations of which many schools in recent years have been able to experience the advantages of a projector without a lamp, to discover this technology and be able to evaluate its strengths.
