Canon has introduced XEED 4K600Z, a new compact LCOS projector with higher resolution than native 4K and phosphor laser light source.
XEED 4K600Z, with its brightness of 6.000 lumens, is the ideal solution for simulation environments, design studios, training institutes, creative installations and digital signage. This new model also offers a very compact design, inherited from its predecessor XEED 4K600STZ, which paves the way for many installation options.
With a weight of only 26 kg, including lens, and 360° orientation, the XEED 4K600Z is rather easy to install, thanks in particular to the shift in the motorized lens that adjusts the image position without the need to tilt or move the projector. Canon’s AISYS optical system and LCOS panels with 4K native resolution of 4096 x 2400 pixels allow the new XEED 4K600Z to faithfully colors reproduce with a native contrast ratio of 4.000:1.
An important feature of XEED 4K600Z is operational versatility. For example, the projector can be used for digital signage thanks to laser technology that guarantees continuous operation up to 40.000 hours, with a five-year warranty and unit replacement when repaired. For medical training environments there is a Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine simulation mode with DICOM 14 standards, which uses the grayscale for accurate reproduction of radiographic images.
Wi-Fi capabilities also allow you to manage and control the projector via iOS devices, expanding remote functionality. The new Canon Projector Service Tool app, available for iOS devices, allows users to save time by providing control and error resolution functionality.
The new Canon XEED 4K600Z will be available from December 2017.
