The Aten Control System is a standard Ethernet-based management system that connects all the hardware devices in a room or large facility to provide centralized control directly via a mobile device and tablet computer.

Text: Creating an easy-to manage environment for conferencing, training or collaboration with ATEN, requires 3 simple steps: connecting the hardware to a central device (VK2100 Controller) or one of its expansion boxes (VK224, VK248, VK236), configuring the desired settings and management profiles (VK6000 Configurator), and just enjoying the simplified control. Since the controller supports standard Ethernet, serial, I/O, relay and infrared interfaces, any device commonly installed in a professional or residential room can be easily connected. ATEN ensures compatibility to 10,000+ device drivers and counting. The driver’s library of the VK2100 controller enables support of a multitude of devices and is easily expandable. Once everything is installed, one or more computers and mobile devices can be authorized to control the setup. The ATEN hardware control system can be smoothly installed in new and existing settings.

The ATEN control system is able to create a unique and personalized user experience, thanks to an entirely customizable app. The GUI can be developed for both mobile and computer. It is setup by simple, pre-defined commands and macros, which make code optional. The app scores well in personalization and branding, since each button and background can be designed as desired. Moreover, the installation of sensors and physical buttons in a room, allow for immediate interaction with the environment. In any sector or industry, it is important to save precious time. Therefore, a single, dedicated button or sensor can be authorized to make all equipment ready for use: lights, computers, audiovisual equipment, curtains, presentation screens, heating and airco settings. During a presentation, all hardware can be controlled from a tablet, avoiding to disturb the speaker by standing up, leaving or making unnecessary noises.
