Let’s start with the important things: thanks to Avixa, Euromet, Lightware and Prase Media Technologies, to our partners WhatWeAre, iEnd and Pentastudio, to the Order of Architects of Ancona which accredited the training programme: without them, and their trust in being able to do the training event in mixed reality, Smart & Hybrid Working could not have taken place.
Covid has imposed many barriers for us, but we have found that technology can evade many of them.
Follow a sharing spaces workshop and experience with 20 colleagues? You can. Meet the speaker without a mask? You can.
Lean towards your neighbour and asking him if you understood that detail correctly? You can.
Thanks to digital technologies and immersion, it was possible to offer 50 professionals, on Thursday 15th October, the opportunity to participate in a training event by sharing spaces, contents and experiences.
This was the Smart & Hybrid Working event, the second stage of the Connessioni roadshow that began in the spring and dedicated to encouraging dialogue between the systems integration sector, and that of design and technological commissioning, i.e. those professionals who are called upon to do design choices also in terms of Audio Video but who often do not have specific training, i.e. Architects, Engineers and Design Studios, IT and Facility Managers etc.
We have created immersive environments where participants, with their own avatar customised to their liking, were able to access, register, sit in the same space and attend presentations together in a plenary room. Subsequently divided into groups, they took part in more specific design sessions on technologies and solutions useful for creating and enjoying a state-of-the-art corporate environment in the best possible way. These workshops took place in rooms where, thanks to a scrupulous 3D modelling, a typical corporate environment was recreated, equipped with technologies for coordinated and remote work: speakers, matrices, video projectors, etc … to see and live directly through your avatar as a multimedia room is set up, and which technologies are implemented for specific needs.
A brand-new mode, never used before, which combines engagement and fun with a real learning experience. These events thus become a formative moment but also a laboratory for experimenting with virtual and immersive experiences, maintaining the possibility of creating relationships between participants and experiencing a first-person experience.
