Smart Home Technology Conference
\nAt ISE 2023, CEDIA will once again run its notorious and newly named \u2018Smart Home Technology Conference\u2019, which will feature a phenomenal 65 hours of professional development. Located in the CC1 conference suite, the sessions will focus on Technical Excellence, Business Growth, and Future Trends \u2013 all through the lens of home technology integration. Some highlights include:<\/p>\n
The Maximising Your Projects Potential \u2013 The benefits of integrating AV with BMS controls session (12.30 p.m. Tuesday 31st January) will leave attendees empowered, with a better understanding of how to create unified installations plus some practical takeaways on how to level up their projects.<\/p>\n
The Double Bass Array \u2013 Next Generation session (12.30 p.m. Wednesday 1st February) discusses the concept of the double bass array (DBA) and the ways it can be effectively and predictably implemented in rooms to deliver exceptional results.<\/p>\n
The RP22 Immersive Audio System Design Recommended Practice Workshop (2.30 p.m. Thursday 2nd February) will introduce the guidelines in RP22 \u2014 the new Recommended Practice that discusses and defines objective performance targets for audio systems and room design across all private entertainment spaces.<\/p>\n
Additionally, CEDIA will bring ISE attendees two opportunities to assess whether they are ready to earn internationally accredited certifications from CEDIA. Attendees can take the certification review courses to determine any knowledge gaps they might have and identify a professional development plan to successfully work towards the Cabling and Infrastructure Technician (CIT) and Integrated Systems Technician (IST) certifications.<\/p>\n
Join CEDIA Member Program Specialist, Imogen Dent, and COI instructor Damien Smith for a new course as part of the revamped CEDIA Outreach Instructor (COI) programme, which teaches invaluable presentation skills, social media best practices, and the inside scoop on engaging with local design and build industry partners.<\/p>\n
Smart Home Technology Stage
\nAlso at ISE 2023, CEDIA is introducing the Smart Home Technology stage in the residential zone, hall 2, with a star-studded lineup. A series of panel discussions and fireside chats will tackle the toughest challenges facing the home technology integration industry today and in the near future, with topics including modern marketing and promotion, the importance of best practice, supply chain management, innovative verticals, and more.<\/p>\n
Member and Non-Member Passes
\nThe CEDIA Conference Pass is available to both CEDIA members and non-members and provides entry to all the CEDIA education sessions during the show. The Conference Pass is available for pre-booking at an exclusive Early Bird rate of \u20ac245 for members and \u20ac350 for non-members until 9thJanuary 2023. Alternatively, individual courses can be booked on an \u00e0 la carte basis for those with more limited time.<\/p>\n
Connection Hour and Members\u2019 Reception
\nBuilding on the success of last year, CEDIA will host a \u201cConnection Hour\u201d in the CEDIA booth (2H600) at 5 p.m. from Tuesday \u2013 Thursday. For the first time in Barcelona, CEDIA will also hold a Members\u2019 Reception on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at the FIRA, collocated with the CEDIA Smart Home Technology Conference.<\/p>\n
