Christie\u00ae is pleased to announce the launch of the next generation of its popular HS 1DLP\u00ae Series projectors with three new models. With brightnesses from 15,750 lumens to 23,650 lumens, the new models offer improved color performance for bright and bold images with new Christie BoldColor+\u2122 technology.<\/p>\n
DWU15-HS, DWU19-HS and DWU23-HS feature 15,570, 19,150 and 23,650 lumens, respectively, increasing the brightness range while inheriting the reliability, quietness and cost-effectiveness of the original HS Series. With the addition of the new BoldColor+, the colors of the new generation of HS Series projectors are brighter and more vivid with deeper blacks and more natural and realistic on-screen images.<\/p>\n
In addition to three new HS Series models, Christie also introduces the DWU1400-GS, a new 14,250-lumen 1DLP GS Series projector with Christie RealBlack\u2122 that delivers stunning images with 4,000,000:1 contrast. The new HS Series models and the DWU1400-GS are all backed by a five-year warranty.<\/p>\n
“Our new projectors increase color performance to deliver in a 1DLP box, images that approach 3DLP,” says Suhan Bijai, associate product manager at Christie. “Through the launch of our HS Series and GS Series projectors we are setting a new benchmark for projection with respect to color and brightness via 1DLP.”<\/p>\n
The DWU19-HS and DWU23-HS support ready-to-use passive polarized 3D, and all models include integrated Christie Twist\u2122 for warping, blending, and are compatible with Christie Mystique\u2122. Mystique is an automated camera-based alignment and recalibration software solution for rapidly installing, aligning, calibrating and maintaining multi-projector systems. In addition, accessories for the first generation of the HS Series, including lenses and mounts, are compatible with the new models.<\/p>\n
Christie HS Series projectors are ideal for markets such as live events, hospitality, themed attractions and museums, as well as projection mapping, and have been found reliable in projects around the world, from the set of the TV show The Masked Singer Vietnam to projection mapping on India’s iconic Red Fort, to illuminating the grand ballroom in the super-boutique hotel The Londoner, as well as exhibitions and galleries at the Shanghai Museum of Astronomy.<\/p>\n
Christie DWU15-HS, DWU19-HS, and DWU23-HS are already available for order and will ship from late 2022, while Christie DWU1400-GS will ship from October 2022.<\/p>\n
