In the Yamaha booth at ISE, the company offered all the products for the latest trends and market needs, pushing on conferencing products with solutions that simplify remote collaboration and smart-working with the ADECIA line. Finally, for the live world, as well as for studio and streaming, they offer a flexible and scalable all-round system for immersive audio, Yamaha AFC.<\/strong><\/p>\nDuring the ISE we met up with Giulia Giganti<\/strong>, marketing & communication for Yamaha, for a product tour through their crowded booth. The first section she shows us is the one dedicated to communications, which, with the complicity of COVID19, has become crucial and which likely in the future will remain relevant. To keep up with the new industry needs, Yamaha has launched a range that offers quality audio and easy to use solutions with the aim of making remote collaboration, home-working and study not only possible, but also simple. The ADECIA system<\/strong> dedicated to video conferencing consists of two basic elements: the RM-CM processor which allows the recognition and optimization of speakers and microphones in the system through Dante and the microphones, with the Ceiling and Tabletop options, coming in different sizes, to comply with all needs. A special feature is the RM-CG ceiling microphone, equipped with multi-beam tracking technology that focuses on individual voices, eliminating background noise, even when more than one person is speaking. To complete the system, on the occasion of the ISE, Yamaha announced a partnership with AVer<\/strong>, the manufacturer of videocameras that, integrated with the microphones, make the most of the voice tracking system to identify and orientate towards the speaker, using the configured presets. Yamaha intends to focus on this market and has already had excellent results in installations, especially in the corporate sector and in universities.<\/p>\nOn the speaker side, to integrate wih the ADECIA systems, various speakers are proposed, but the VXL series<\/strong> of line array speakers in three dimensions lends itself particularly to completing the conferencing system with elegance and design. Available in black and white, aesthetically discreet, they are suitable for installation in offices and shops, standing out as an element in great demand on the market. Among the other speakers presented live, there is the DHR series which was also at MIR and consists of three models, of which the monitor in particular is having great success. The peculiarity of these speakers are the wooden cabinets.<\/p>\nGiulia, illustrating the various ranges of products that cover all possible needs, underlines how the strength of Yamaha is precisely to offer 360 \u00b0 solutions that therefore allow, despite the current stock problems, to manage the complexities, moving in case of need on another product, while still managing to satisfy the customer’s requests. We complete the tour with “Tony”, Wouter Verkuijl<\/strong> of the European Yamaha AFC (Active Field Control) team, with whom we learned about their solution for immersive audio. In fact, at ISE it was possible to listen to the same demo via headphones that was available as a demo at the MIR in Rimini, with a piece interpreted by the jazz choir of Bonn. The virtual space is modelled precisely on that of the hall where the demo was hosted at the Italian fair and through the binaural output it is possible to listen to it as if one were on site, with the same depth and fullness of sound. The possible applications of this system are numerous, from the preparation in the studio in view of a live, as the possibility of listening for example behind the stage what happens in the hall and finally to create streamings, obviously always for headphones. Two modules are available for the AFC Enhance and AFC Image system. With the first it is possible to control the reverberation of a space, exploiting the acoustic properties already present. Using technology that does not add artificial reverb, it is possible to create an ideal sound environment that maintains the natural sound of instruments and voices. AFC Image handles \u00a0the position of the sound images perceived by users, effectively creating an acoustic landscape in which sounds can be moved.
