Smart Building Expo, and AV Playground which was part of it, were a great success, with high attendance and the enthusiasm that personal distance had somewhat extinguished. Here are testimonials from some of the participants, in this case from AVIXA, who supported the training programme.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Valeria Rapa<\/strong>, AVIXA’s Program Coordinator Europe and responsible for the association’s activities in Italy, sent us her report on her participation in AV Playground, the thematic area organised within Smart Building Expo. Meeting in person, re-establishing contacts, and in-person training were the aspects that were most appreciated by participants.<\/p>\n

The AVIXA opinion
\n<\/strong>Participation in AV Playground, the area dedicated to audio-video technologies within the Smart Building Expo fair, was the first in person event in Italy since February 2020 for AVIXA. The return to being in person meant we could finally be with those that we didn\u2019t lose virtual contact with, but with whom we hadn\u2019t had the opportunity to interact with in person for a very long time. Furthermore, it demonstrated how in person training continues to maintain an added value that online training doesn\u2019t quite match. Presentations with both presenters and a live audience allows for a more effective exchange of information, questions, answers and interactions. <\/p>\n

AVIXA’s Italian Advisory Group has prepared a new version of the “AV for the IT world<\/strong>” workshop, a format designed to introduce IT and installation professionals to the uses and potential of audio-video technologies. Gualtiero Anselmetti<\/strong> presented a module dedicated to audio technologies, Adriano D’Alessio<\/strong> presented one on video characteristics and Roberto Vogliolo<\/strong> talked about how to create an “exceptional experience”, which is the result of integrating technologies in the most effective way to guarantee an optimal user experience. To complete this explanation there were also resources on Project Management and the history of the evolution of the concept of “experience”, thanks to the contribution of Pier Luigi Forte<\/strong> and Giuliana Geronimo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It was exciting to meet live and to be able to do so within an exhibition context such as Smart Building Expo was even more stimulating. We have had the opportunity to see how much companies and professionals have moved forward with ideas and projects even during these long months of uncertainty and a partial pause. We\u2019ve seen how great the desire is to continue working and learning,  thanks to the collaboration between various sectors and various areas of technology.<\/p>\n
