High sound quality, streaming functionality and extensive connection options: we are talking about the new Bluesound Professional active network speakers, a Canadian brand distributed in Italy by Prase Media Technologies.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The new Bluesound Professional<\/a> BSP1000<\/a><\/strong> and BSP500<\/strong><\/a> speakers were presented on the Italian market, PoE<\/strong> models that offer important connection functions. Both, in fact, incorporate integrated streaming capabilities specifically designed for commercial installations, both indoors and outdoors, thanks to the IP65<\/strong> classification.
\nThe units are powered via PoE<\/strong> (Power over Ethernet),<\/strong> which reduces the amount of wiring required: power and audio signal travel on a single network cable connected to the speaker.<\/p>\n

The player in the BSP speaker<\/strong> is based on the established BluOS platform<\/strong> and is capable of playing and distributing content from local network storage as well as from a large number of streaming services, including some specifically designed for commercial use, such as SoundMachine, Custom Channels, QSIC<\/strong> and internet radio stations. As well as stand-alone use, it is possible to use a pair of BSP<\/strong> speakers in stereo configuration and multiple speakers in a room in either mono or stereo configurations. Use of either BSP<\/strong> model in a larger BluOS<\/strong> system is also possible, allowing for grouping into user-definable groups of whatever size is required with other BSP speakers and\/or any other connected Bluesound Professional players, amplified players or network speakers on the network in an installation.<\/p>\n

Both models utilize a 1\u201d HF driver<\/strong> while the BSP1000<\/strong><\/a> features a 6.5\u201d LF driver<\/strong> and the BSP500<\/strong><\/a> utilizes a 5.25\u201d woofer.<\/strong> Each is powered by a high efficiency amplifier including a low power standby mode. The LF driver on BSP1000<\/strong><\/a> is port loaded with a provided port plug for outdoor use. The frequency response of the BSP1000<\/strong><\/a> is 45Hz-23kHz<\/strong>(63Hz<\/strong> – 23kHz<\/strong> for the BSP500<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

Control of the speakers can be readily accomplished by any Windows\/Mac<\/strong> computer as well as any iOS\/Android<\/strong> phone, tablets the Bluesound Professional CP100<\/strong><\/a> wall mount controller and many third-party control systems. The BSP1000<\/strong><\/a> and BSP500<\/strong><\/a> speakers are offered in choice of White or Black matte finish and come supplied with an integral wall mounting bracket for easy installation, which allows for a 90\u00b0 -170<\/strong> \u00b0 rotation angle.<\/p>\n
