The tabletop meeting and collaboration system by Crestron now offers cleaner UI design and intuitive navigation, available as free firmware update for existing units<\/strong><\/p>\n Crestron<\/strong><\/a> announced the release of a major user interface update for Crestron Mercury<\/strong><\/a>, the well known tabletop meeting and collaboration solution. The new UI<\/strong> features a more modern-looking, cleaner design that provides users with a simpler experience, including more intuitive navigation. The redesigned UI<\/strong> will ship with all new Crestron Mercury<\/strong><\/a> units and is available for existing units via a free firmware upgrade.
\nThe firmware update is available from October 28th<\/strong>, as default on all systems, and can be evaluated by technology managers through the Crestron Online Help<\/strong><\/a>, before the automatic update.
\nCrestron Mercury<\/strong><\/a> now includes the latest AirMedia 2.0<\/strong><\/a> wireless presentation UI,<\/strong> which provides automatic detection of the web browser and app installation for one-click wired or wireless connectivity and presentation, plus support for Miracast<\/strong> connectivity to boost collaboration in any meeting space.
\nOther Crestron Mercury<\/strong> advancements include plug-and-play support of Crestron AirBoard<\/strong><\/a> for capture, display, and sharing of whiteboard content with anyone, anywhere; and support for Crestron Certified Drivers<\/strong> to enable control of any display.
