Whether you took part in some of the events of last year’s Edu Tournée or you are registered for the first time, the 2019 edition of the Edu Tournée – taking place at the Didacta exhibition from October 9th to 11th – will offer participants many new experiences.

While last year we aimed to create a “gallery” of examples of the best practices, state-of-the-art solutions for multimedia technologies for education, in 2019 we are focussed on content, on how technology enables new educational models, new cognitive approaches, and how it can make learning more effective and make information, and especially learned methods, more lasting in memory and in time.

We are also striving to increase public participation in the seminars, by effectively putting the audience at the heart of the relationship with the speaker, so that they will not be “only” recipients of information. This “inverted presentation” approach is a unique type of relationship between the speaker and the audience, conceived by Véronique Nah, a theatre artist who throughout her career has conducted intensive training for teachers, students and professionals in various fields.Interpreting the need for revitalization of Edu Tourée, Véronique Nah has developed a model that allows the members of the audience to express their expectations, questions and expertise on a subject, reversing the convention whereby the audience ask questions to the speaker only at the end of his or her presentation. This “inverted presentation” focusses on the relationship with the audience: it is a tool, a stimulating opportunity for the speaker to interweave the questions of the public with the main points of his or her own presentation.

Alongside the educational programme, conceptually and physically, there will also be an AV Experience Area, where participants can directly and personally experience the most advanced technological solutions for education in an interactive and engaging manner. This area, designed and built by What We Are, is made possible thanks to the contribution of solutions and technologies made available by the Edu Tournée partners: AVIXA, Benq, Casio, Leading Technologies, Lightware, Prase Media Technologies and Sony.

The programme will be further enriched with the contribution of new speakers:
