Who is in pole position in MotoGP? Audio-Technica, with its microphones! The sound of the 19 Grand Prix of the MotoGP season, in fact, will be guaranteed by Audio-Technica, new official supplier for the microphones<\/strong><\/p>\n

Audio-Technica<\/strong><\/a> announced its appointment as official supplier of microphones for MotoGP,<\/strong> the motorcycling championship that includes 19 Grand Prix<\/strong> worldwide. The assignment was conferred by Dorna Sport<\/strong><\/a>, owner of the commercial rights of MotoGP<\/strong>.
\nThe need was to improve the audio quality of the Grand Prix filming, to align it with the high standard of video footage. The tests of Audio-Technica<\/strong><\/a> products started towards the end of the racing season in 2018,<\/strong> and they arrived, this year, in the appointment of Audio-Technica<\/strong><\/a> as official supplier of 265<\/strong> microphones, headphones and monitoring solutions, including 53<\/strong> microphones for shooting on the track, 76<\/strong> microphones for interviews and ENG cameras and 2.4 GHz System 10<\/a><\/strong> radiomicrophones for 16<\/strong> mobile ENG cameras.<\/p>\n

The new 3000 Series<\/strong><\/a> wireless systems and the new Engineered Sound 935<\/strong><\/a> goose necks, with Dante<\/strong> connection, were chosen instead for pre and post-race press conferences, while 30 BPHS1<\/a><\/strong> model headphones are located in various commentary stations. In addition, 72 M60X<\/a> headphones<\/strong> and ATH-E50<\/a> in-ear headphones<\/strong> allow MotoGP<\/strong> teams to listen to the live audio signal.<\/strong>
\nAudio-Technica<\/strong><\/a> solutions have been used since the first European race of the 2019 MotoGP<\/strong> season held in Jerez, Spain,<\/strong> in May.<\/strong> Immediate, in particular, was the success of the microphones (specially designed for use in sports broadcasts) BP28<\/strong><\/a> and BP28L<\/strong><\/a> with large diaphragm.
