Active Audio and APG have a strategic alliance: Active Audio is specialised in public address in the retail and house-of worship installation market, while APG concentrates more on pro audio systems and large scale installations. APG showcased their flagship Uniline line array system but the big news for the group at the beginning of 2019 had to do with an important new development in terms of personnel.

The big news was the appointment of Eric Grandmougin – an audio consultant and engineer who has worked on various audio projects for over twenty years – to the position of Marketing and Customer Service Director for the group.

Grandmougin has worked with APG and other companies helping with complex installations. He has now joined the company since the first of January and his role is to assist the distributors and specifiers with complex projects and to help them submit correct tenders for projects – the right products, quantities, configurations, etc.

By the same token, he will also work closely with Gregory Dapsanse, Marketing & Business Development Director, who manages research and development for APG.
