We have seen that projection technology is increasingly comfortable in artistic applications and large-scale video mapping. Polish video artist Bart Kresa, one of the most well-known figures in the world in his field, will be a guest of ISE 2019: both as a “theoretical” witness, as the protagonist of the opening Key Note (18,00 on 4 February), and as a “practical” one, given that his work Sviatovid, which is an impressive 5 meters high, will welcome visitors to ISE from the square opposite the RAI Amsterdam’s main entrance. The work will be illuminated in 360° by Panasonic PT-RQ32 30,000 lumen projectors and will be the indisputable star of this edition.

“The high-level of design and production that we have achieved with Sviatovid — high resolution, four times 4K, 120,000 lumens, and a complete transformation of the sculpture — is innovative. When I think of the best place in the world to premiere cutting edge new work, I think of ISE. We are so appreciative of Panasonic for collaborating with us on this project, and to ISE for supporting the premiere”, commented Bart Kresa.

Even if we have no difficulty believing that it will be unforgettable, it will be a pleasure to verify it with our own eyes.
