Remarkable success for Sony at the Amsterdam fair: lots of news \u2013 from cameras to displays to IP Live solutions \u2013 and, in addition, the offer of Intelligent Multimedia Services.<\/strong>
\nThe key words in the large Sony<\/strong><\/a> stand at IBC 2018<\/strong>, are 4K<\/strong> and HDR,<\/strong> starting from the new generation of 4K\/HD HDR<\/strong> live system cameras. HDC-P50<\/strong><\/a> is a Point of View (POV) 4K HDR system camera,<\/strong> while HDC-3500<\/strong><\/a> is a portable system camera<\/strong> equipped with a 2\/3\u201d 4K global shutter<\/strong> with three CMOS sensors;<\/strong> alongside these new models, the new HDC-3100<\/strong><\/a> (Fiber) and HDC-3170<\/strong><\/a> (Triax) portable camera systems were also presented, offering flexibility and reliability as well as high image quality and IP functionality. In addition to the new range, a new Control Unit,<\/strong> the HDCU-3170<\/a>,<\/strong> can be used in combination with the system cameras.
\nOne of the main trends in the sector is in fact the adoption of IP Live solutions<\/strong><\/a> aimed at reducing infrastructure costs and optimizing workflows.

\nAs for the monitors, the novelty is represented instead by the new BVM-HX310<\/a>,<\/strong> equipped with Sony<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s high-contrast LCD panel and capable of playing 4K<\/strong> and High Dynamic Range (HDR)<\/strong> content. Full-screen brightness up to 1.000 nit<\/strong> and contrast ratio of 1.000.000: 1<\/strong> for HDR productions<\/strong> are additional features of this product, which also marks the introduction of the new Sony TRIMASTER HX<\/strong> brand.

\nBut the news continues, because we also have the new HXR-NX200<\/strong><\/a> portable camcorder, a low-cost solution to capture images in 4K<\/strong> and equipped with all the professional features that videographers need, in a very compact chassis. The sensor is a 1\u201d (14.2 megapixel) CMOS Exmor R<\/strong>, while the supplied lens is a 29mm wide-angle G Lens<\/strong> with three independent manual rings for controlling focus, zoom and iris.

\nThe HXR-NX200<\/strong><\/a> is able of recording 4K XAVC S 100 Mbps<\/strong>, has built-in 4-step ND filters<\/strong> and also allows streaming live HD events<\/strong> through a production ecosystem composed of the MCX-500<\/a> multi-camera Live Producer<\/strong> and the RM-30BP<\/strong><\/a> Remote Commander.<\/strong>
\nFor film productions and television fiction, Sony<\/strong><\/a> is instead expanding the creative possibilities of its flagship camera, the CineAlta VENICE<\/strong><\/a>, through the firmware update to Version 3.0<\/strong> (available from February 2019<\/strong>) that will allow you to add a new recording format X-OCN XT<\/strong><\/a>, with which you can acquire high quality images using a portable recorder with AXS-R7 memory<\/strong> and containing the file size.
