The third edition of MIR in Rimini concluded last Tuesday: press releases are noting a 20% increase in participants (about 12,000 visitors), who had a wide choice available from among the many activities (over 70 events, courses and workshops, concerts and demos) related to the various sections of the fair: the “historical” Light&Sound (live events, on the stages of pavilions A1 and A3, C1and C3, equipped with solutions from the sponsoring companies), Professional Video (Broadcast), Music & DJ Producer, and, of course, Integrated Systems, developed with our collaboration here at Connessioni.
Alongside booths from companies such as Epson, ScreenLine and E-Home, Connessioni (along with UX-Men for the design and technical setup) developed the AV Experience Area, intended to offer users a real experience of the opportunities offered by integration between products and technologies. AV Experience Area was equipped with integrated and ad hoc solutions from sponsoring companies and was the scene of seminars and meetings all day for every day of the fair. It had an open format with free participation that worked very well: visitors were able to easily arrange seminars with their visit to the fair and in the meantime observe solutions and the performance of a true integrated area. Guided visits of the area, led by UX-Men, and the seminars, which were given accreditation from Orders and Colleges, were attended by various professional end users.

Heartfelt thanks to the companies that participated in and supported the initiative: ScreenLine, E-Home, Dodicifacce, Mod’s Art and Christie, and to the associations that contributed: AVIXA and SDVoE, both key players with ad hoc talks.

In the coming days we will publish a report of our visit…all that remains now is to tell you when to mark your calendars for the next MIR!
