Success was in the air… but now we have its confirmation. After four days of full immersion and chock-full pavilions, Integrated Systems Europe 2018 closed the doors of another record-breaking edition, surpassing last years’ numbers and considered to be the best ever. More exhibitors, more space, more initiatives, more training and, according to initial estimates, many more visitors crown the annual appointment in Amsterdam as the “top” in Europe, and by now in the world, for the integration industry. While waiting for the official numbers, we found some statements to AV Technology Europe from Mike Blackman, ISE Managing Director who, during the event’s closing last Friday, expressed his complete satisfaction with the surprising turnout of visitors: more than 80,000 entrants, already considerably beyond the record of 73,000 tickets issued in 2017. The figures speak clearly on the exhibitors’ end, too: 1,200 sponsors, 291 of which were at ISE for the first time, indicate the excellent health of an event destined to grow even more.
Connessioni’s staff also breathed in this atmosphere of excitement, coming to you live from Amsterdam day after day starting with the completely packed AudioForum (Monday, 5 February) and the news, product launches, technological trends and events of ISE 2018. If you were not at the fair, or if you missed something amongst the many things to discover, you can relive the enthusiasm of the “European week” of integration along with us through videos and the news that was published and is still being updated in the Website section of www.connessioni.biz. A final thanks to our partner Durante, who helped us to once again make Connessioni’s stand an open place for exchange and interaction and, in this case, testing technologies applied to communication. Thanks to all those who stopped to participate in the contest with the touchless version of Google Earth: in our next newsletter we will announce the winners of the vouchers and tickets for Monet Experience.

All that remains is for us to examine what we saw at ISE 2018 and tell you about the next edition, in Amsterdam as usual, from 5 to 9 February 2019.
