The format, organized by Connessioni, left the northern routes and came to Bari, bringing inspiration and ideas for those who are faced with the realization, or even just the management, of multimedia rooms – from university classrooms to huddle rooms. A day that is focused first and foremost on designers: indeed, the seminars sought to explain how to build a room, to clarify some solutions offered by today’s technology, to identify what to ask of specialists when one must create, or renovate, a multimedia room.

The day’s program saw some new inclusions, such as the presence of Luca Battistelli for Prase Engineering, who spoke about solutions dedicated to conference rooms, such as innovative microphone systems and interactive projectors, and that of Anapi, the association of real estate administrators that, with Dr. Bonasia, went into detail about the tax breaks available even for technological apparatuses and energy savings that are included in the 2017 Stability Law.

Following each other, furthermore, were speeches already present during the previous stops by Luca Enea Spilimbergo for Aten on the topic of room remote control; by Adriano D’Alessio of Lightware, who shared ideas on what technological integration is, even from a methodic point of view, and included many spectacular, practical examples; by Davide Moretti of Casio, who introduced the advantages of lamp projections; and by Mauro Lavazza for Leading Technologies on the topics of signal distribution and audio processing in convention halls and more. We were also followed the usual talks by guests Donato Masci on acoustics and Stefano Cavese on the design of connected multimedia rooms, and also by sector associations: SIEC for the reference procedure for the proficiency certification of agents and InfoComm for the educational opportunities offered.

The day took place at the Impact Hub di Bari: the space is dedicated to co-working, startups and the sharing of skills and ideas, which were all in consonance with the spirit of the event. The open space, where both the educational and meeting moments took place (and which also hosted the demo area of the companies present at the event contemporaneously), facilitated interaction and exchange and welcomed about 35 attendees among designers, engineers and hotel directors who followed with great interest, but also several sector professionals.

Many thanks to the participants, but also to all those that made this enriching day of exchange possible. In anticipation of the “grand finale” in Florence, which will take place on 20 June.
